I was at the pool with my son 2 days ago when I checked my email on my iPhone. I received multiple emails on the same post I had a few weeks ago. I got concerned at first. I thought either there was something wrong with my vision after swimming under the mid-day Sun or there was something wrong with my account. Only when I started reading each one did I realize that they came from different people. I felt butterflies in my tummy. It could only mean one thing if I’m getting that much responses within a 3 hour period.
As soon as I got home, I turned on my computer. Like a child opening his Birthday present , I was so thrilled and happy to see my post for the first time at Freshly Pressed. My heart was bounding with joy.
Then I opened my dashboard section and read the comments. I can’t believe the outpouring of inspiring responses. It’s like getting those Christmas cards that bring good tidings and warm thoughts of best wishes.
Today, I wish to thank each one of you for taking the time to visit my blog, read my post, opting to choose the ” Like” feature and making heartfelt comments.
I may not be able to thank each one of you on time thus I made this post just for you. I would like to share and celebrate this honor with all of you. Blogging is not just about a personal manifestation of one’s dream to make a difference. More importantly, it’s about a community that supports and encourages each other to believe in themselves and with the World around them.
I am grateful with the people behind Freshly Pressed for noticing my work. You guys inspired me more to bring out the best in everything. Thank you for letting me experience what it’s like to be a part of the World Press family. It’s one of those jubilant feelings that no words can describe . You made me feel like a winner and that’s totally cool!
Once again, thank you for being a part of my journey. May you continue to open doors for others and create a spark that brings out the best in people. I’m honored to have known all of you through your Blogs, through your comments and replies. I may not know you personally but most of you poured out you inner thoughts and feelings that I don’t often see in the physical everyday existence. Stay passionate of what you do. Stay blessed with the gift of words and images.
